Grass Roots G-SE-38R Lake Placid Blue Metallic modified

Grass Roots by ESP 60s style Stratocaster. The G-SE-38R has similar specs to the G-SE-50R. This one is in great condition and has been modified with the "Gilmour Mod". The mini toggle gives you two extra pickup combinations. This is a solid guitar and plays like a higher priced guitar. The action is good and it has a classic Strat sound. The bridge has a high quality tremolo block and vintage style saddles, options most guitars in this price range fall short on. There are dings on the edge of the fretboard at the 4th and 10th fret, but they do not hinder the playability. There is also a minor dent in the paint on the body top. (see photo).

This guitar is another great example of ESP quality guitars at a low price. Anyone new to Grass Roots had best consider it as an alternative to Squier or other guitars in it's price range.
