Coming soon to RockSo Music — this bass will be on display at Guitar Summit 2026 in Mannheim, September 25–27.
Modern Playability. Powerful Control. Custom Character.
The Beta5 Custom combines Atelier Z’s modern 5-string design with performance-focused features and extensive onboard tonal control, finished here in the distinctive Black Silver Line custom color.
Its split-coil pickup uses an angled pole-piece design for a powerful, noise-resistant response, while the heel-cut neck joint provides easier access to the upper register. A newly designed string retainer contributes to a comfortable, balanced playing feel across all five strings.
At the heart of the Beta5 is Atelier Z’s AZ-3B 3-band preamp, offering boost and cut control across bass, mid, and treble frequencies for a wide range of active tones.
This custom model also includes a removable finger ramp, allowing players to use it when desired without making it a permanent part of the instrument.
Hand-built in Japan, the Beta5 Custom features an Ash body, Maple neck and fingerboard, Gotoh GB528 tuners, and Atelier Z’s BB519 bridge.
