The JHJ-265 Custom brings Atelier Z’s distinctive JHJ pickup configuration to a 5-string platform, combining the familiar response of a J-style pickup with the added power and tonal possibilities of a humbucker.

Built with a 2-piece Ash body and Maple neck with Maple fingerboard, this custom model delivers a clear, responsive foundation across all five strings. The 34" scale provides a familiar playing feel while maintaining definition and articulation in the extended low range.

Its Atelier Z JBZ-5 + 5HM pickup configuration offers a broad range of tonal possibilities, from focused J-style sounds to the fuller character of the humbucker. The Bartolini XTCT + Spectrum Boost preamp provides additional active tone shaping with strong headroom and musical response.

This particular Custom model is finished in Transparent White with a matching headstock and gold hardware, giving the instrument a distinctive appearance while allowing the grain of the Ash body to remain visible.

Hand-built in Japan, the JHJ-265 Custom is equipped with Gotoh GB528 tuners and an Atelier Z BS518 bridge for dependable tuning stability and performance.
